Police Department

The Hobart-Lawrence Police Department (HLPD) was established in 2001. The Town of Lawrence and Village of Hobart established a cooperative department to provide the highest quality at the lowest cost to taxpayers. This group of dedicated professionals includes one full time Chief, one full time Lieutenant, one part-time training officer, and 10 full-time police officers that include a K-9 unit and a school liaison.
