2024 Garbage and Recycling Schedule

 

Memorial Day (Monday May 27th) – NO pickup on Tuesday Mary 28th. All collections one day later than normal

Independence Day (Thursday July 4th) – Normal pickup on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday pickup will be done on Friday July 5th

Labor Day (Monday September 2nd) – NO pickup on Tuesday September 3rd. All collections will be one day later than normal.

Thanksgiving Day (Thursday November 28th) – Normal pickup on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday pickup will be done on Friday November 29th.

Christmas Day (Wednesday December 25th) – Normal pickup on Tuesday December 24th. Wednesday and Thursday pickup will be one day later than normal.

Both garbage AND recycling are collected weekly.  Please make sure your bins are roadside by 6:00 a.m. to ensure proper collection.

LARGE ITEM PICK UP:
If you have a large item you would like to picked up, please contact GFL at 920-983-3341.  They will schedule the pick up and let you know what the charge will be.

WINTER WEATHER REMINDERS:  
If it is snowing / blowing please keep your bin back off of the roadway so the plows can go through. Due to bad weather, the Garbage & Recycling collection may not be at the regular time that you are used to;  the trucks may be running late due to weather conditions or breakdowns, please leave your bins out for collection.

NEW TO HOBART?:

If you're moving into an existing home, your bins will be at the home when you arrive.  If you're moving into a newly built home, please call the office at (920) 869-1011 to get bins delivered to your home.
