What school district do I live in?
Two school districts, Pulaski and West DePere serve Hobart. Please call the Hobart Village Office at (920) 869-1011 for information on which district you will be residing in. |

Are dog licenses required?
Yes, licenses are required by the State of Wisconsin, Proof of current rabies vaccination is required for issuance of the license. The cost for dog licenses in 2007 will be $5.00 for neutered and spayed animals and $10.00 for those that aren't. Deadline for licenses each year is March 31st. After this date there is a penalty of $5.00 per animal. |

Will my mailbox be repaired when the snowplow hits it?
Call Kevin Berken at Atlas Excavating or email him at kberken@atlas-excavating.com; give them your name, address and telephone number. They will advise you of the schedule for repairs. Also call Rick Kinney at 920-869-3808 at the Village office.

They only took part of my garbage. Why?
The garbage container lid must be able to be closed. If you have mounded bags on top of or set regular bags beside the cart, it will not be picked up. If you have extra garbage, it must be in HOBART bags which are purchased at the Village Office, 2990 S. Pine Tree Rd. Oneida, WI |

If I have extra trash, how do I dispose of it?
You may purchase bags at the Hobart Village Office, 2990 S. Pine Tree Rd. Oneida, WI for any trash that will not fit into the garbage container. The cost is $1.00 per bag which pays for the pick up and disposal of your additional garbage. |

If I want to take my extra trash to the landfill, how do I get there and what is their phone number?
You may take your additional garbage to the Brown County Transfer Station. Take HWY 54 west from FF. Keep going west past CTH GE (turn for Airport). Transfer Station is about 1/2 mile west of GE on the north side of HWY 54. For charges, please call Brown County Transfer Station at at (920) 490-2706. |

How do I get rid of large items, carpet and pad, swing sets, bikes, lawnmowers and grills?
You can have these items picked up by the Waste Service by calling 1-888-804-8556; you will be billed directly by the collector.You may also dispose of them by taking them to the Brown County Transfer Station. Please call the landfill for charges at (920) 490-2706. The transfer station only accepts credit cards and there is a minimum charge of approximately $5.00. |

Where can I dispose of cans of paint?
Full cans of either Oil Based or Water Based paints may be taken to the Hazardous Waste Site located at 2561 S. Broadway, behind the Brown County Materials Recycling Facility. The hours are Thursday from noon to 8:00pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm .Partial cans of Water based paint may be dried out by taking the lid off and allowing the paint to evaporate and then placed into a garbage bag and put out with the regular garbage. |

They picked up my neighbors garbage and recycling, but did not pick up mine?
It is possible the truck was full and they had to go to the landfill to empty it. If they did not return on your scheduled pick up day, please call 1-888-804-8556 to alert them to the missed pickup. |

Why didn't they pick up my recyclables?
Newspapers, magazines, and other clean paper items are to be put in a separate container; either a brown paper sack, or a container no larger than the 18 gallon recycling container. Cardboard must be cut or broken down into pieces no larger than your blue Hobart Recycling Bin .Plastic, glass, metal and tin must be clean and can be co-mingled in the recycling container.
